TRESemmé® Split Remedy Product Review

If you have color treated hair or use styling products that damage your hair like straighteners, blow dryers, curling irons, etc. then you probably need Tresemme Split Remedy Leave-in treatment. It reduces frizz and split ends up to 80% within the first three uses! I straighten my hair almost daily and it is very damaged, so I was trying to find a product to repair my hair and I found this. I started using it about two weeks ago and now I cannot even find a split end. My hair is so much softer and healthier. I apply it while it is damp, focusing mainly on the ends, and reapply it, if necessary, to the ends when I finish styling my hair. It is an amazing product and by far the best leave-in treatment I have used. I hope you all have the amazing results I have had!!

Neutrogena Micro-Mist Tanning Sunless Spray Review

Hey guys, I hope you all had a blessed Easter! It's time for a new update... Enjoy :)

Summer is approaching fast and we all want that beach tan without the hassle of lying in the tanning bed. Neutrogena Micro-Mist can help you get that. I have tried several different spray tans, including one from a tanning salon, and this product works the best! It dries in 5 minutes or less so you can apply it then get dressed and head out if you want. It has a very fine mist that goes on even and works at any angle. Although the product says you do not have to rub it in I would recommend it. Especially when you are applying it to your face. When I apply it to my face I usually spray some on three fingers and then disperse evenly all over. Applying it to the body is a little different. First of all, I would make sure you are in an environment where the mist cannot go on your clothes, curtains, etc. to prevent staining. Secondly, disrobe and spray it where you would like to be tan, then rub! Ex: If you are only wanting your legs darker, spray it to your legs then rub it in. Be sure to wash your hands with soap immediately after applying and make sure to get in between your fingers thoroughly to prevent orange hands and fingers. There are three different levels of this spray tan depending on your natural color. I always go with level 3 dark and I have never streaked from this product before. It takes about 4 hours for the spray tan to be in full effect, then can last up to 7 days. Be sure you go by your natural color when picking out which level you need. For example, if you have very fair, pale skin you need to go with a level 1. Don't try to get a level 3 thinking it will make you darker than level 1 because you will only end up orange! Overall, this is a great product that is perfect for keeping that year around tan.

Pros: Oil-free, Non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), Alcohol-free, Applies and dries fast, Affordable, Natural looking, Rubs in well
Cons: Possibility of streaking

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips Review

Sally Hansen's Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips are quick, easy and look fabulous! I was a little sketchy with trying these because I was concerned about the application process. Usually, when you try to get the salon look at home it's more of a hassle then just going to the salon. However, that is not the case with these press-on nail strips. They are amazing and easy to apply! The best part is there is no dry time so apply them and you are ready to go.

I was also impressed by the fact that they did not peel off in strips, but rather chipped like I had actually painted them myself. They are supposed to last for 10 days. Depending on how active you are and how much you use your hands, they only lasted me about 6 or 7 days. Although, some claim that the press-on nail strips lasted them as long as two weeks! Another good thing about these is that they can be easily removed with nail polish remover. With their 40+ styles they have available you should never have dull, boring nails again!

Pros: Easy to apply, no dry time, a wide variety of styles, you get the salon look from wherever without the salon price
Cons: I thought they chipped kind of easy.

If you decide to try them or have already let me know what you think about them or what you prefer. There are plenty of step-by-step YouTube tutorials if you would like to have more of an insight to how they are applied.

Estee Lauder Maximum Cover Foundation Product Review

If you're looking for a foundation with amazing coverage that feels weightless, then you need to try Estee Lauder's Maximum Cover foundation. I have tried so many different foundations over the years and this one has the best coverage. It stays on all day and covers acne scars, birth marks, etc. It cost around $30 dollars, but is well worth it. One tube usually lasts me seven to nine months!

At first I was skeptical to try it when it is supposed to be able to even cover tattoos. I was worried about the coverage being too heavy, but as long as you don't apply too much you will have flawless coverage that lasts all day. It only takes a small amount to cover a large area. I suggest having someone at the make-up counter to show you how much to apply. I started using it about five years ago and have been addicted every since!

Pros: Flawless coverage, feels weightless, you don't have to re-apply often, lasts forever!
Cons: I find myself having to touch up with powders throughout the day, but that shouldn't be a problem unless you have oily skin. They don't have a wide variety of dark shades.

If you have tried this foundation or plan to let me know what you think about it. If you don't like it, why and what do you prefer? (:
